Glacier Valley Church of God is a vibrant, multi-cultural, spirit-filled, family of believers.   Our church has been placed in Juneau, Alaska to reach the lost, restore the broken, and release people into purpose.  Our goal is to create an atmosphere of love, acceptance, and forgiveness where people can pursue an encounter with God.

Our Mission Is:

Reaching people where they are

Restoring the broken pieces of life

Releasing people into Purpose

Leadership Team:

Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

Pastor Green, Lead Pastor

Pastor Green has been lead pastor for more than 20 years.  He is passionate about dynamic preaching, ministering to the needs of this body, the lost and hurting.  Day and night Pastor and Linda Green are burdened with the needs of this church body and the community.  He desires to see the mighty hand of God move in our services and in our community so that the captive are set free, the sick are healed, the Word is made alive, the broken are restored and those that are lost will find the Way the Truth and the Life.

Pastor Bennett, Associate Pastor

Pastor and Arlene Bennett serve our church tirelessly with a heart burdened for the needs of the people in our community and in SE Alaska.  You will see him ministering not only in the church teaching Sunday School and preaching but at funerals, on the phone with prayer needs, in the hospital praying for the sick and ministering to those in crisis.   He and his wife Arlene are an integral part of the functionality of our church and are a blessing to our congregation and community.

Pastor Keith Greene, Outreach Pastor

Pastor Keith Greene serves as the Outreach Pastor.  Currently, Pastor Greene has established a youth night on Fridays called Impact, and reestablished the prison ministry and Men’s Ministry.  In addition to this, Pastor Keith works to digitize all the sermons onto podcasts so that people can listen to God’s Word anytime or anywhere.  Pastor Keith and his wife Jenny have a heart for the unsaved and hurting within our community, and are working that all might know Him.  In addition to these ministries, they also fill in where needed within the church, such as Sunday School, Wednesday night, and also preaching for both Sunday morning and evening services.  Also, their children Hunter and Juliana play instruments for the morning worship team.
